Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born 15 September 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon First Family of the Church used her literary talent and research abilities to create the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man Knows My History, she used both. The title derives from the funeral sermons of Joseph Smith, who was the leader of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. You have never known the inside of my mind." My past is not known to anyone. It's impossible for me to reveal it. Fawn the 29 year old woman has written: "Since that moment of sincerity, at the very least three writers have taken on the task." A lot of them have denigrated him and some have glorified him. A couple have even tried their hand with a diagnosis made by a doctor. It's not so much that the documents are insufficient, but rather they're wildly contradictory. This is the task--to separate accounts from third-hand plagiarization and to blend Mormon stories with those of non-Mormons into a coherent history. It's a fascinating and instructive experience. Fawn brodie devoted herself professionally to her work. Thaddeus Stewards was the product from her writing and study has made her a known author. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The South Thomas Jefferson. An Intimate The Story of Thomas Jefferson (1974) and a posthumously Richard Nixon.
