Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedy and television star who is best known for her role as the anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show on the daytime channel. She was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has a family which has experienced a variety of difficulties. She spent the majority of her youth caring for her ailing sister Frankie. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship between her parents. Sheryl claims that at some point her mother had stabbed her son's father as she got close to him. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her college graduation. Her interest in comedy became more pronounced. It was her first time as a female to make it through the contest in 1989.
