Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was part of One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he formed his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Although he has an interest in music he also wanted to be an attorney or physiotherapist. Part-time work in a city bakery in his early job to make money for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. The group was then forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. The group performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalist. The group was placed in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and were the winners. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal for One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
