Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with dreams of great heights. Her greatest roles are the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic drama Precious. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many dreams. She was raised by a mom who loved watching movies. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. Paula was a fantastic actress and enjoyed performing with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to be an actor in high school and she picked acting to pursue a career. She was enrolled in the University of Southern California's Summer program and enjoyed it immensely. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. She started as an assistant to production for TV documentaries, after completing her assignment. When she was done with her work, she started producing documentary films. Even though she loved working in the field, she yearned to be an actress. The path to acting began when she had minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared on many TV and film programs.
