
Lowell began her acting career with the film Dangerously Close followed by a small role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She was also a part of Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she played the identical role of Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. And again in 2022 on the show's original. Before being cast in the role, she was frustrated in her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking program. [4] She quit acting around the year 2000. Lowell gave her voice and likeness to Lowell as she reprised her Licence to Kill character in 007 Legends. In 2018, she appeared on television, and was an actress on the show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him between 1984 and 1988. [9][10] From 1989 until 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell was married to Richard Gere [11] in November 2002, following the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. Two years later, after eleven years of marriage, they divorced in September 2013. The couple sat for three years in a highly contested divorce proceedings in the New York Supreme Court.
